Yesterday morning I realized that I had better do something, anything to get myself more motivated. So when I got up, I decided to get back to exercising. I started with a few of my exercises that I do using the giant ball that was the object of fascination to my son when he was home (fascination and fun).
Then I decided to shake things up and went and checked out the town pool. I had never been there when it was open (I think I checked it out a few years back, but it was closed down for repairs and I just never went back). I couldn't get over how nice it was! They were very friendly there, and I am now very inspired to go work out at the pool, even though I have not been motivated to swim in more than a few years!
I think change is good. I became fully aware that doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results truly is the definition of insanity. It's not a happy way to live, and I've decided I no longer want to be unhappy. So here I go, back on the ball and into the pool!
