Summer Vacation - Day 2

Officially, day 2 of my summer vacation was Sunday, but since I generally don't work weekends, I don't count them in with my summer vacation days. So yesterday was day 1, today was day 2, etc.

Day 1 I did more than watch the rain (as I mentioned in yesterday's post.) I managed to empty 1 1/2 boxes which were in the garage; tried out the new vacuum and started putting away more stuff in my bedroom (I can now see the floors - when my dog is not spread out on them!)

Day 2 felt like I did less, but actually, I think I did more. I got in touch with my insurance company, moved the due date for payment so I could pay it with my next paycheck; got the phone fixed; emptied more of the box, which also involved getting all my exercise equipment (mat, small weights and bands) upstairs, so I can start using them again!

I also learned how to fold my sheets so that they don't tumble out of the closet, and even got a couple of linen boxes to help keep them in place (I will be getting more linen boxes in the future - those things are great!)

Finally, I spent a good part of the afternoon trying to figure out my (other) computer situation, and much of that time was spent fuming and swearing. In the end, we (my son and I) determined the best option would be to get a new tower (no monitor - already have a fairly new one). I made a nice discovery though - I can get a fairly inexpensive tower through one of the resources at work! Nice!

Three more days left this week. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
