Morning on this first day of the new year broke to reveal another cold, wintry day. The snow was coming down and the wind was a bit brisk when I took my dog out to walk across the frozen parking lot, the only place currently accessible for him to do his "business", as much of property around the buildings is covered with snow that is now nearly several feet deep.
I tried to find a way to make this brisk walk my new year's wake up, but found that I was still groggy and unmotivated until nearly halfway through the day. New Years resolutions made the day before can wait until I can acclimate myself again to winter in Western New York.
Too much snow. Way too much snow.
